The proposed Remediation of Land SEPP is a focus of this seminar as there is considerable ongoing workshops on the role of Certified Practitioners, Auditors and triggers for Development Approvals. The proposed SEPP and Contaminated Land Guidelines are a work in progress will be discussed at the seminar including discussion on the role of Auditors and Certified Contaminated Site Practitioners.
Also discussed are the ongoing emerging pollutants of PFAS and asbestos and the issues they bring to contaminated land management. Supporting this is the development of CRC CARE's Practitioners guide for PFAS Remediation and the ongoing development of the National Remediation Framework. Disposal of PFAS and other intractable wastes has received a boost with the approval of Tellus' geological repository in Western Australia. This seminar will cover:
- Update on policy changes from the NSW EPA
- Key issues for the Department of Planning and Environment in preparing new Contaminated Land and Remediation Policy
- A legal review on property transactions and recent court cases
- PFAS management following national guidance on this subject for contaminated sites

- Use of auditors and or practitioners for managing medium risk level remediation
- Management options for PFAS containing wastes
