Asbestos management starts with its discovery and on site management, but then comes the removal, remediation of contaminated and final disposal. Each stage has its own regulation, expertise and oversight which can be confusing. This seminar is designed to assist in:

• Covering from asbestos discover on site to various methods for asbestos disposal
• Linking WHS, Contaminated Land, Site Management and Occupational Hygiene
• Navigating the regulatory maze on asbestos waste management
• Doing it efficiently and properly to reduce exposures

Speakers represent a broad cross section of disciplines, which have a role to play in asbestos management, along with the main regulators to provide a holistic view of asbestos management in NSW.   The seminar will also discuss emerging issues with the management of asbestos waste and asbestos containing materials including:
